Mission Statement

Our mission is to lead ordinary people to extraordinary life in Christ.

Core Values

We value the following as foundational to our identity as a church family, and essential to our faithfulness in loving and worshipping God.  We will therefore affirm, nurture and hold to the following values in all of our ministries and efforts:

Our Relationship to God

We value Spiritual Transformation of our heads (godly thinking), hearts (godly character), and hands (godly activity).  Our ministries and activities must aid in bringing the whole of our lives into conformity with the image of Christ, through the working of the Spirit, that we bring glory to God in the way that we live, love, pray and serve.

(Galatians 4:19; Romans 8:29, 12:1-2; Mark 12: 28-30; Galatians 5:22-23; 2 Corinthians 3: 12-18)

Our Relationship to God's People

We value Journeying Together in our united pursuit of Christ; walking together in acceptance, cooperation, accountability, communication, care, celebration, service and support.

(Acts 2:42-47; Ephesians 4:11-16; Philippians 2:1-4; Colossians 3: 12-14)

Our Relationship to God's World

We value World Reconciliation as our central call and mission.  We will strive to invest everything that God asks of us to love, win, and disciple every person both locally and globally.

(2 Corinthians 5:16-20; Mark 12:31; Luke 19:10; Matthew 28:19-20; Proverbs 11:30; Ezekial 3:18-21)

Our Stewardship of God's Word

We value Biblical Faithfulness in our ministries and teaching.  We hold the Bible as the final authority in every issue of life, faith and ministry.  We will teach the Word of God with integrity, accuracy and authority so that all people find Christ and mature in Him.

(Isaiah 40:8; Matthew 5:18-20; 2 Timothy 2:15, 3:16-17; James 3:1)

Our Stewardship of Gods Call

We value Innovative Excellence in our programs, structures and methods, seeking

maximum effectiveness and cultural relevance in our ministries and efforts.

(Colossians 3:23-24; 1 Corinthians 9:19-27; Hebrews 10:24)

What We Stand For

1.  We believe in one living, and true God; creator of all, holy, sovereign, eternal, existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

2.  We believe the Bible is the complete, inspired, inerrant word of God, and the final authority in all matters of faith, belief and daily living.

3.  We believe in the absolute and essential deity of Jesus Christ in His eternal presence with the Father in pre-incarnate glory, His virgin birth, sinless life, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, triumphant ascension, mediatorial ministry, and future personal return.

4.  We believe in the absolute, and essential deity, and personality of the Holy Spirit, who convicts of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment; Who regenerates, indwells, sanctifies, seals, teaches, gifts, guides, and comforts those who follow Jesus Christ.

5.  We believe that Satan exists as an evil personality, the originator of sin and the arch-enemy of God and humanity.  He is the head of a host of demons who are his forces of evil influence worldwide.

6.  We believe int he direct and divine creation of mankind in the image of god that he sinned, and became guilty before God, which resulted in corruption, thereby incurring physical and spiritual death.

7.  We believe that salvation is by the sovereign, electing grace of God; that in line with God's plan, Jesus Christ voluntarily suffered and died as our substitute, paying the penalty for our sin and delivering us from the wrath of God.  We also affirm that we are justified by faith alone, resulting in our reception of the righteousness of Christ, in our preservation and growth by the power of God, and in our ultimate conformity to the image of Christ when we meet Him face to face.  God saves us and God keeps us secure for Heaven.  Each person will be held personally responsible for their acceptance or rejection of Jesus Christ.

8.  We believe in the personal, bodily and glorious return of Jesus Christ; in the bodily resurrection of the godly and ungodly; in the eternal blessedness of those who follow Christ, and in the eternal punishment of those who reject Him.

9.  We believe that a church is a group of immersed believers, called out from the world to serve the Lord Jesus, voluntarily associating together to study and apply the word of God, to mutually strengthen and encourage its membership, to share the good news of Jesus Christ with the rest of the world and to observe the ordinances.

10.  We believe that there are only two ordinances for the church to observe: the Lord's Supper and Baptism.  Baptism is the immersion of the believer in water as an act of obedience to the command of Christ and as an outward expression of his / her identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection.

11.  The Lord's Supper was instituted by Christ as a memorial in which believers remember the reality and significance of His death through the partaking of bread and wine.

*We do not claim infallibility for the above statement, yet we do hold firmly to these truths as we see them and call on others to search the scriptures to see if these things are so.  It is our desire to uphold Biblical faithfulness in all our ministries and teachings and to do so with integrity, accuracy and authority so that all people find Christ and mature in Him.  If what you have read generates questions that you would like to talk about, please speak to the church leadership as they would be delighted to further discuss this Statement of Faith with you.
